As many of you already know I am transitioning away from Safehouse Outreach. Saturday will actually be my last day on full time staff with SHO. I am leaving to start an organization called Project Live Love. I look forward to sharing more on this in the near future.
About a month ago a friend of mine asked if he could follow me around with his camera to see what we might come up with. Hassan hopes to one day pursue a career in photo journalism and thought following me around would be a great way to learn. When he got done with the photos he recorded an interview with me and then spliced it all together to create a really cool piece of work.
The best part of this project for me is I will forever have these memories to look back on as I make this transition. Hassan did an amazing job capturing a day in the life of Drew Benton at Safehouse Outreach. Take a look and let me know what you think.
